4. sound installation
The sound installation was developed connecting randomized sound clips that were extracted from the interviews held for the project. With the help of a special program, sound artist Fabian Bentrup (Folkwang Universität der Künste, Essen) designed the sound installation by using sounds that the participants were making while taking a break from speaking (i.e. swallowing, breathing, sighing, sobbing etc.). Clear sentences were manipulated in an abstracted way. The sound installation is entirely made of voice based noises and is supposed to be rearranged and replayed in different ways every time.
