From Die Schauende - Her gaze unsettled, 2022 (Künstlerhaus, Dortmund)The project investigates the concept of normality in confrontation with the increasingly narcissistic and self-centered features of Western society. The gap between a norm and the misunderstood, the strange, or the alienating becomes especially apparent in the context of psychological injury or illness. Individual experiences with one's own psyche lead to equally subjective worlds of reality that know no age restrictions or gender boundaries. The term "madness" is not a universally valid label. Nevertheless, it is used in many areas in different ways and without consideration of possible consequences.
