From Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow, 2025 Photoszene (ICA Islands of Contemporary Art, Cologne)ICA – Islands of Contemporary Art display the work GIVEN ENOUGH EYEBALLS, ALL BUGS ARE SHALLOW by the Cologne-based media artist Linda Nasdalack. The multimedia installation combines photographic material with text and 3D point cloud scans, which were made in caves. She deals with the fear of the unknown, darkness and the spherical that is written into these places of sheer lightless-ness that are unknown to us. The exhibition is curated by Giulia Gramm.
From Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow, 2024 (CASE, KHM)The multimedia installation “Given enough eyeballs all bugs are shallow” explores the subtle connections between the feeling of fear of the unknown and virtual spheres without orientation or light that originate in remote caves. Using photographic material and a point cloud scan as well as texts resulting from conversations on the subject of “ambiguity”, the work abstracts a search for control in a dark and alien environment.
