1. concept
Most people are afraid of the dark. It is a fear that manifests itself not only in the darkness of the night, but in the form of what we cannot see - the invisible, the obscure, the future.
The effects of ambiguity - i.e. the unpredictability of everyday life - can also evoke very different emotions and ways of dealing with them in different people. Ambiguous problems and unpredictable anomalies are not only found in human life, however - they can occur in a similar way in areas of research or science. In times dealing with the after effects of a global pandemic, climate change and political uncertainties, it is of daily relevance to reflect on one‘s own fears about the future.
