W2: Die Schauende - Her gaze unsettled, 2022Social and cultural normatives often lead us to stigmatize that which is seemingly unknown or misunderstood. They make us want to categorize certain behaviours or emotions in hope for security and comfort. Experiences with the individual psyche lead to equally subjective worlds of reality that know neither age restrictions nor gender boundaries. Nevertheless, stigmas and taboos always arise in confrontation with what we have not experienced ourselves or cannot comprehend.
